Fashion . . . At What Cost?

Living within your means is not only fashionable, but rewarding, satisfying and brings peace of mind.  Too many consumers spend too much money recklessly on a variety of trends, accessories, and stuff- which is okay if you have the financial freedom to do so.  But most of us cannot buy anything we want whenever we want.

I know too many people who love to shop but do so carelessly and unconsciously.  My guess is you do too.  You have to know your limits in life, and that includes financial limits.  You may think life is not fair, but remember the old saying, "LIFE ISN'T FAIR."  You need to stop making excuses for the financial situation you are in and start taking responsibility in order to change them.

Your relationships with your family, friends and most importantly yourself can be destroyed by irresponsible spending.  So ask yourself the next time you find a great hand bag that you really want:  Is this really worth putting my relationship with myself or my family's financial future is jeopardy?

This brings me to my next point.  WANTS are much different than NEEDS.  Some days I think too many people confuse the two words and there meanings.

Real joy, satisfaction and happiness comes from within, knowing and understanding that you are actively participating in building a stronger financial future for yourself and your family.  When you know that you are doing your best, a feeling of content and pride comes from a place deep inside.  When you are able to stand on your own two feet and take ownership for your actions, you will undoubtedly grow stronger from within . . . and that beauty is always fashionable.
